- Our official Telegram Bot allows you to send links and files to your library.
- Integration with Pocket allows you to import your articles from Pocket to Quickify.
You can find them in Integrations tabs on the home screen or in the settings.
Connecting these services should be easy and straightforward. If you encounter any issues, please contact me at contact@quickify.app.
Starting reading
What makes Quickify special is that it offers you a variety of reading methods. You can choose the one that suits you best.
- Text to Speech. The most popular reading method among Quickify users. It's a great option for those who want to listen to the text while doing something else.
- Speed Reading also known as Rapid Serial Visual Presentation or Spritz. It means you are shown one word separately, changing into another at a certain pace. This technique allows you to limit your eye movements, greatly improving your reading speed.
- Cursor reading method, with its moving cursor that highlights text at a preferred speed, is designed for enhanced focus and faster reading. It guides through the text, reducing distractions and the likelihood of skipping or re-reading lines.
- Bionic reading method emphasizes the initial parts of words to speed up reading and comprehension by helping the brain quickly process text with less cognitive effort.
- Normal mode is a traditional reading experience found in other applications. It's a good option for those who want to read a book or an article in a familiar way.
Choosing speed
You can adjust the reading speed in the settings of each reading method. The speed is measured in words per minute (WPM). The average reading speed is 200-220 WPM. You can adjust the speed to your liking, gradually increasing it as you get used to it.
Text features
Quickify has an option of highlighting, translating, or saving the text to notes. The algorithm is as follows:
- Long press the word you want to operate with
- Once done, the pop-up window appears, showing you the features: Copy to clipboard, Share, Translate, Highlight
You can customize the highlight color as well as the automatic translation language one the Settings screen.
